Abstract:
This brake device is configured of a parking brake control device and electric mechanisms (an electric motor and a rotation-linear motion conversion mechanism) of a rear wheel-side disc brake. The parking brake control device controls the driving of the electric motor. The parking brake control device changes, depending on deceleration during a transition of a vehicle from a running state to a stopped state, and a brake fluid pressure during the transition, thrust generated by the electric mechanisms (the electric motor and the rotation-linear motion conversion mechanism) for maintaining a braking force in the stopped state.
