Abstract:

Disclosed is a brake system. The brake system comprises a pedal assembly (1), a hydraulic assembly (2), a reversing assembly (3), a driving wheel assembly, a pedal feeling simulator (6) and a first electronic control unit (7). The first electronic control unit (7) is electrically connected to the reversing assembly (3) and can control the reversing assembly (3) to switch working positions, and the reversing assembly (3) comprises at least two working positions. In a first working position, a brake fluid output port of the hydraulic assembly (2) is in communication with the driving wheel assembly by means of the reversing assembly (3); and in a second working position, the first electronic control unit (7) is electrically connected to the driving wheel assembly to control the driving wheel assembly to provide a braking force. By means of the system, when a vehicle is in a normal working working condition or a non-complete-failure working condition, a braking force is provided entirely based on an electronic mechanical braking system, without depending on a hydraulic system, and when the vehicle is in a complete-failure working condition, a braking force can be provided by means of the hydraulic system by way of a driver stepping on a brake pedal.
