Abstract:
This braking control device automatically increases the wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure if a braking operation member is not being operated, the device comprising: "a pressure-regulating valve that is provided to a connecting path connecting a master cylinder and a wheel cylinder, and that regulates a differential pressure between the master cylinder hydraulic pressure and the wheel cylinder hydraulic pressure"; "a fluid pump that is driven by an electric motor, that takes in brake fluid from the connecting path between the master cylinder and the pressure-regulating valve, and that discharges brake fluid to the connecting path between the pressure-regulating valve and the wheel cylinder"; and "a controller that controls the pressure-regulating valve and the electric motor, and that holds the brake fluid pressure by closing the pressure-regulating valve and stopping the driving of the electric motor". The controller also opens the pressure-regulating valve and starts the driving of the electric motor if the braking operation member is operated.
