Abstract:
A braking control device comprising: an operation amount acquisition means that obtains an operation amount Bpa for a braking operation member; a pressurizing unit that presses a friction member on to a rotating member fixed to a wheel, by using an electric motor; a control means that controls the output of the electric motor on the basis of the operation amount Bpa; a pressing force acquisition means that obtains the actual pressing force Fpa of the friction member pressing on the rotating member; and a rotation angle acquisition means that obtains the actual rotation angle Mka of the electric motor. The control means: stores the correlation between the actual pressing force Fpa and the actual rotation angle Mka; approximates a function map CMkt indicated by a second degree or higher polynominal Knj, on the basis of the correlation; calculates a target rotation angle Mkt on the basis of the operation amount Bpa and the function map CMkt; and controls the electric motor such that the actual rotation angle Mka matches the target rotation angle Mkt.
