Abstract:
Disclosed is a braking control device such that there is less possibility of a vehicle slipping on an uphill slope during implementation of control wherein the deceleration of the vehicle is decreased immediately before the vehicle stops to suppress the recoiling of the vehicle. When the vehicle decelerates on an uphill gradient road, a brake demand axle torque (65) which approaches zero between t2 and t3 in keeping with the deceleration of the vehicle is calculated so that recoil is decreased. Furthermore, at a subsequent start timing (t3), an initial value (B0), a final value (B1), and a correction period (td) for the brake demand axle torque (65) are determined, and the brake demand axle torque is reduced from the initial value (B0) to the final value (B1) in the period from the start timing (t3) to the correction period (td). Moreover, on the basis of the change in the vehicle speed detected before a limit time point (t3) which is the last point in time whereat the vehicle speed detected on the basis of a detection signal of a wheel speed sensor (7) is not less than a detection limit minimum vehicle speed (Vc), a stop time point (t4) whereat the actual vehicle speed becomes zero is estimated, and the period between the start timing (t3) and the stop time point (t4) is taken as the correction time (td).
