Abstract:
The present invention is provided with a brake operation member 11, a pressurization unit 3, a master cylinder unit 2, a connection path 7 that connects a separation chamber 213 and a reaction force chamber 214, an electromagnetic valve 72 provided on the connection path 7, and a control device 8. The control device 8 is provided with a specified control section 81, a determination section 82, and a valve control section 83. When the brake operation member 11 is operated with the electromagnetic valve 72 closed, the specified control section 81 executes activation-time control for supplying fluid to a servo chamber 211 using the pressurization unit 3 on the basis of a predetermined pattern. The determination section 82 determines whether the pressure difference between a reaction force pressure that is the pressure of the reaction force chamber 214 and a separation pressure that is the pressure of the separation chamber 213 is less than or equal to a first threshold value. After the activation-time control is started, when the determination section 82 determines that the pressure difference is less than or equal to the first threshold value, the valve control section 83 opens the electromagnetic valve 72.
