Abstract:
A braking system 10 is provided with a motor generator 21 for causing a vehicle to generate a regenerative braking force; a frictional braking device 30 for causing the vehicle to generate a frictional braking force; and a control device 40 for controlling the motor generator 21 and the frictional braking device 30 so that the sum of the regenerative braking force and the frictional braking force reaches a required braking force. The control device 40, in a switching control, further increases a rate of decrease of regenerative braking force the more time elapses since a start of reduction of the regenerative braking force due to a start of the switching control.
