A branch box 10 is provided with a case 11, a trunk cable 12 which is affixed to the case 11, a branch cable 13 which is affixed to the case, a cover 15 which is mounted to the case 11 and which covers the trunk cable 12 and the branch cable 13, and an relay conductive path 14 which electrically connects the trunk cable 12 and the branch cable 13.
