Abstract:
A breaker (1) comprises an open/close mechanism part (10), a tripping device (20), a detection part (30), a driving part (40), a body case (70), a light emitting diode (50), and a flashing control part (60). The open/close mechanism part (10) opens and closes an electrical path (4). The tripping device (20) causes the open/close mechanism part (10) to operate. The detection part (30) detects a current value of a leak current or a conduction current of the electrical path (4). The driving part (40) drives the tripping device (20) on the basis of the detection result from the detection part (30). The body case (70) covers the open/close mechanism part (10), the tripping device (20), the detection part (30), and the driving part (40). The light emitting diode (50) is positioned in a location that is visible from outside the body case (70). The flashing control part (60) causes the light emitting diode (50) to flash on the basis of the current value detected by the detection unit (30).
