Abstract:
With a standard light source emitting light, display elements (6) in a display device (1) are made to light up in a lighting pattern in which adjacent display elements (6) do not emit light at the same time, and an imaging device (4) captures an image. A captured image acquisition unit (101) acquires captured image data for each lighting pattern; a display element position calculation unit (102) specifies the positions of the lighting elements (6) and standard light source on a captured image; a display element brightness calculation unit (103) calculates brightness from the values of pixels at the specified positions; a relative brightness calculation unit (104) calculates the relative brightness of the display elements (6) with respect to the brightness of the standard light source; and a display element output coefficient calculation unit (105) calculates a coefficient that homogenizes the brightness of the display elements (6). An output control unit (7) lights up the display elements (6) via an output signal that has been corrected on the basis of the coefficient.
