Abstract:
A broadband optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier (10) insensitive to temperature variation, comprising a first pulsed laser (1), a second pulsed laser (2), a stretcher (3), and a periodically polarized crystal (4). By enabling non-collinear angles among signal light (7), pumping light (8), and idler light (9) to simultaneously meet an angle relationship required for insensitivity to wavelength and temperature variation, the optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier (10) can achieve broadband amplification of the signal light (7) (insensitivity to wavelength variation) and can also effectively alleviate phase mismatch of a nonlinear crystal caused by over high local temperature (insensitivity to temperature variation). A periodic domain inversion structure of the periodically polarized crystal (4) has the capability of making kp(T0), ks(T0), ki(T0), and kg wave vectors form a wave vector quadrilateral, so that the optical parametric chirped pulse amplifier (10) can meet the requirement of phase match, thereby improving the conversion efficiency of the optical parametric pulse amplifier (10) in a high average power mode.
