Abstract:
A brush device disposed with the longitudinal direction of a coiled spring aligned with the surface direction of a brush holder, wherein the end part of a pivot shaft on the flat surface side of a brush base part is formed in a hollow tubular shape, the extension part thereof on the other end side is fixed to the brush holder by insert molding, a step part is provided on the pivot shaft, a cover plate is installed so as to cover the winding part of the coiled spring as viewed from a direction perpendicular to the surface direction of the brush holder while supporting the cover plate by the step part and the brush holder, and the hollow tube-shaped end part of the pivot shaft is pushed and spread to fix one end of the pivot shaft to the flat surface of the cover plate.
