Abstract:
An alternative copolymer characterized by being obtained by alternatively copolymerizing a vinylbenzyl-terminated polyethylene oxide (or polydimethylsiloxane) with a (meth)acrylic-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (or polyethylene oxide). It is a novel amphipathic brush-form alternative copolymer having a structure which makes the copolymer highly suitable for use as an emulsifying agent or dispersant for the oils and silicone solvents generally used in cosmetics and medicines.
