Abstract:
In the present invention, a control substrate (70), which controls a rotor (38) and is housed in a gear case (51) in a manner so as to overlap a speed reducer (SD) from a direction intersecting the axial direction of the rotor (38), is provided with gear-side electricity supply terminals (73U, 73V, 73W) connected from the axial direction of motor-side electricity supply terminals (35U, 35V, 35W) provided to the end in the axial direction of a stator (32). As a result, while remaining a brushless wiper motor (20), there is no longer a need to provide the gear-side electricity supply terminals (73U, 73V, 73W) in a manner so as to avoid the control substrate (70). Consequently, it is possible to effect greater compactness and lightness of weight while eliminating the occurrence of electrical noise, and furthermore it is not necessary to form clearance at the control substrate (70), and so it is possible to increase the degree of freedom for installing the control substrate (70).
