Abstract:
In this bubbling fluidized bed reactor, fluidizing gas is blown from the bottom of a furnace into a fluidized medium filled in the lower portion of the furnace so that the fluidized medium is fluidized and a fluidized bed is formed. This bubbling fluidized bed reactor is equipped with a plurality of infrared cameras and a control device. The plurality of infrared cameras acquire thermal images of a fluidized bed interface from different viewpoints. The control device creates a three-dimensional thermal image for the fluidized bed interface on the basis of the thermal images acquired by the plurality of infrared cameras. The fluidized bed is composed of an upper fluidized bed and a lower fluidized bed arranged in the thickness direction, and the cross-sectional area of the upper fluidized bed is at least 1.4 times the cross-sectional area of the lower fluidized bed. The control device increases or decreases the thickness of the fluidized bed in the furnace on the basis of the created three-dimensional thermal image.
