Title:
BURST TRAFFIC DETECTION DEVICE, BURST TRAFFIC DETECTION METHOD AND BURST TRAFFIC DETECTION PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/234764
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a control unit (15), a flow burst detection unit (30) calculates, for each flow (Fi), a flow threshold (THi) that dynamically changes in response to long-term fluctuations in the amount of traffic (Ni) in said flow (Fi), and detects a burst that occurred in said flow (Fi) by comparing the flow threshold (THi) to the amount of traffic (Ni) in the flow. In this manner, it is possible to accurately detect a flow burst in each flow (Fi), even if the amount of traffic (Ni) in the flow (Fi) fluctuates greatly over the long term.
