Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to the field of communications, and provide a calibration method and a communication device, being capable of compensating a measured amplitude-phase result, saving costs while ensuring the performance of a phased-array antenna, and facilitating wide deployment of a calibration system. The method is applied to an antenna array amplitude-phase calibration system; the system comprises a first device, a second device, and a third device, the first device comprising N antenna groups, and the second device comprising at least three probes. The method comprises: the third device determines a position error of each of the N antenna groups; determining an actual position of the antenna group according to a target position of the antenna group and the position error of the antenna group, and determining a phase compensation value and/or an amplitude compensation value of the antenna group for a target probe of the second device according to the actual position of the antenna group; and finally, according to the phase compensation value and the amplitude compensation value of the antenna group, compensating the phase result and the amplitude result obtained by measuring a signal transmitted by the antenna group by the target probe of the second device.
