Abstract:
A camera assembly and an electronic device. The camera assembly (100) comprises a camera module (20), and the camera module (20) is provided with a material layer (10); the material layer (10) comprises a polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer (101), a first electrode layer (102), and a second electrode layer (103) that are stacked; one of the first electrode layer (102) and the second electrode layer (103) is located on the surface of the polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer (101) facing the camera module (20), and the other of the first electrode layer (102) and the second electrode layer (103) is located on the surface of the polymer dispersed liquid crystal layer (101) facing away from the camera module (20), so that an automatic shielding function of a camera can be achieved, and the problem in the prior art of requiring a manual operation to block the camera is avoided.
