Abstract:
A camera system and a mobile terminal. The camera system comprises a camera module, a drive module, a transmission module, and an engagement limiting assembly. The transmission module comprises: a first transmission assembly, a second transmission assembly and a support base, the transmission assemblies being used for driving the support base and the camera module to perform extension/retraction movement, and driving the camera module to perform a revolving and/or turning motion with respect to the support base after the camera module extends/retracts to a preset position and the support base is limited. The engagement limiting assembly comprises a second magnetic element and an engagement part having a first magnetic element, the engagement part is used to engage with the support base so as to limit the support base, and the second magnetic element is used, by means of being controlled, to attract or separate from the first magnetic element, so as to allow the engagement part to engage with or separate from the support base; the camera system is consequently able to implement extension/retraction and turning of the camera module, facilitating use by the user.
