Abstract:
The present invention relates to the fields of genetic engineering and fermentation engineering, and provided is a Candida utilis double gene co-expression strain that hydrolyzes protein components in food waste. The Candida utilis double gene co-expression strain is constructed by integrating a carboxypeptidase gene and an endoprotease gene into the Candida utilis genome by means of a Candida utilis expression vector. Provided in the present invention is a Candida utilis double gene co-expression strain capable of degrading food waste, which can specifically degrade protein components in food waste and decompose same into small peptides and amino acids.
