Provided are a capacitance sensor and a measurement device which make it possible to reduce the impact of stray capacitance on capacitance detection. A capacitance sensor (1) equipped with: a sensor unit (3) which has a first electrode (31) and a second electrode (32) which constitute a capacitor (30); and a capacitance detection circuit (4) which is connected to the sensor unit (3). The capacitance detection circuit (4) is equipped with: a charge/discharge circuit (42) which charges and discharges a capacitor (30) and is connected to the first electrode (31) and the second electrode (32); a control circuit (43) for controlling the charge/discharge circuit (42) in a manner such that the capacitor (30) repeatedly charges and discharges; and an auxiliary capacitance circuit (44) which has one or more capacitors from among a first auxiliary capacitor (44a) which is connected to the first electrode (31) so as to be parallel to the capacitor (30), and a second auxiliary capacitor (44b) which is connected to the second electrode (32) so as to be parallel to the capacitor (30).
