Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a fuel production apparatus and fuel production method with which it is possible to obtain good quality carbonized fuel by carbonizing raw material comprising synthetic resin, kitchen refuse, etc. using a twin screw extruder. [Solution] A fuel production system 100 is provided with a fuel production apparatus 1, a separator 2, a shredder 3 and a boiler 4. In the fuel production apparatus 1, a screw 21 of the twin screw extruder 20 has a modified shape, water vapor S is jetted from a first discharge port 24, a combustible gas G1 is jetted from a second discharge port 25, a combustible gas G2 is jetted from a third discharge port 26 and carbonated fuel F is obtained from a delivery port 27.
