Abstract:
This card medium comprises a card body that is formed by including a metal material and has an opening formed in the surface, an electronic component that is accommodated in the opening while being spaced from the inner peripheral surface of the opening and that has a conductor exposed portion where an electrically conductive conductor is exposed on a part of the outer peripheral surface facing the inner peripheral surface of the opening while being spaced therefrom, a circuit board embedded in the card body and joined to the electronic component, and an electrically insulating portion provided between the electronic component and the inner peripheral surface of the opening.
