Description:
A CARDHOLDER WITH A MOVABLE SLIDE

Technical Field

The invention is related to a cardholder that preserves cards such as credit card, driving license etc., prevents cards to be broken, enables cards to be removed easily by means of a movable slide and protects the cards from virtual theft by means of its RFID technology.

State of the Art

Today, the cardholders used are manufactured from flexible materials such as the leather or fabric in general. The cards and driving licenses placed in the sections of these products are subject to breaking, deformation or disruptions due to the bending in their chip sections during carrying thereof in the pocket. In such cases, the users cannot be able to use these cards when necessary and it is required to replace these with the new ones.

Another disadvantage of these products used in the present state of the art, cards with contactless characteristic have the structure which can be read easily. The cards with contactless characteristic provide making payment transactions by means of appropriate POS machines without entering password. Thus the shopping transactions are performed in a faster manner and customer satisfaction is increased. Although there are advantages in using contactless cards, there are also disadvantages in respect to this. Generally, in crowded environments, these cards can be used by evil-minded people with the help of the POS devices without the knowledge of the card owner by means of approximating the POS device near to the wallet of the card owner. In current systems, in order to eliminate such problems, wallets with various structures are available. Particularly in order to prevent the deformation of the cards, there are various improved products. In these products generally cards are taken out of by means of a lever which is located at the bottom portion. In these products generally the lever located on the lower portion enables the cards to be removed out.

Aim of the Invention

The invention is related to a cardholder with a movable slide system which enables the disadvantages in the current systems to be eliminated and brings some additional advantages.

Another aim of the invention is to enable the movement of the cards by single hand in a safer manner by means of the case consisting of two parts.

Another aim of the invention is to have RFID technology by means of aluminium bodies.

Another aim of the invention is to provide a thinner, lighter and more useful product compared to the current systems.

Another aim of the invention is to eliminate forgetting this in an open condition by means of said springs.

Another aim of the invention is to eliminate additional wallet requirement by means of including more number of cards within it.

Another aim of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages such as breaking or deformation since there is no opening mechanism on the bottom portion.

6. Spring Detailed Description of the Invention

The inventive cardholder having a movable case consists of a fixed case (1 ), an slide channel (1 ,1 ), a lock (1 ,2), spring channels (1 ,3), card outlet (1 ,4), a compression spring channel (1 ,5), spring movement slot (1 ,6), a movable case (2), shifting slides

(2.1 ), a card compression spring channel (2,2), a lower cap (3), a card mechanism pin (3,1 ), a card mechanism channel (3,2), a lower cap pin (3,3), a spring pin (3,4), a card motion mechanism (4), a card alignment element (4,1 ), an upper spring pin

(4.2), a motion hole (4,3), a lower spring pin (4,4), card compression springs (5), spring (6) sections.

The inventive cardholder having a movable case is fitted to the shifting slides (2,1 ) which are located on the outer side portion of the movable case (2) through the slide channel (1 ,1 ) which is located on the internal side portion of the fixed case (1 ). The card compression springs (5) which enable compression of the cards are fixed to the compression spring channel (1 , 5) which is located on right and left internal section sides of the fixed case (1 ) and to the card compression spring channel (2,2) which is located on the internal side portion of the movable case (2). The spring (6) is fixed on the spring channels (1 , 3) which are located on the upper middle portion of the fixed case (1 ).

The lower cap (3) is fixed to the lower section of the movable case (2). The spring (6) located on the spring channel (1 ,3) is attached to the spring pins (3, 4) located on the lower cap (3). In the same manner the other spring (6) located on the spring channel (1 ,3) is attached on the upper spring pin (4,2) located on the upper portion of the card motion mechanism (4). Therefore, the springs (6) are enabled to remain in the spring movement slot (1 ,6) section and compression of the springs (6) between the fixed case (1 ) during their movement.

The lower cap (3) is passed through the card mechanism channel (3,2) located on the upper portion thereof and fixed on the card mechanism pin (3,1 ) by means of the motion hole (4,3), thus the card movement mechanism (4) is enabled to be moved on the card mechanism pin (3,1 ). The spring (6) is attached between the lower spring pin (4,4) located on the end portion of the card movement mechanism (4) and the lower cap pin (3,3) located on the upper portion of the lower cap (3).

The cards are placed to the cardholder which is fixed through the card outlet (1 ,4) section located on the upper portion of the fixed case (1 ). The cards which are placed are compressed by means of the card compression springs (5) located on the internal section. The cards such as the driving license and new identity cards which are compressed within the fixed case (1 ) and the movable case (2) are protected from risks such as breaking, crushing and deformation etc. At the same time by means of the aluminium bodies they are protected against virtual theft by means of its RFID technology.

While the movable case (2) is pulled in a downward manner, the shifting slides (2,1 ) are moved on the slide channel (1 ,1 ) located on the internal side section of the fixed case (1 ). The card mechanism (4) which is fixed to the lower cap (3) section is moved by means of the downward movement of the movable case (2). The cards are removed out of the card outlet (1 ,4) respectively by means of the card alignment (4,1 ) element located on the card movement mechanism (4).

After the cards are removed out of the card outlet (1.4) section respectively, the movable case (2) is enabled to have its original position by means of the spring (6) which is located between the lower lid (3) if the fixed case (1 ) located on the internal section of the movable case (2) and the card motion mechanism (4). The card motion mechanism (4) is brought to its original position by means of the spring (6) which is located between the lower spring pin (4,4) located on the end section of the card movement mechanism (4) and the lower cap pin (3,3) located on the upper portion of the lower cap (3) and the cards are remained in an upward manner respectively. While the movable case (2) takes its original position, the fixed case (1 ) is leaned towards the lock (1 ,2) section located on the upper portion. The user chooses a desired card and can put this between any other cards and places this through the card outlet (1 ,4) section with the other cards.
