Abstract:
The present invention relates to a dye sublimation printer and a manufacturing method and, more specifically, to a dye sublimation printer and a method for manufacturing same, wherein a detachable cartridge is provided, and in particular, the cartridge is mounted to a frame body to allow various tests, such as tests for print quality, operating state, or the like, to be performed even before the final product of the printer provided with a housing is produced. A cartridge of a dye sublimation printer according to the present invention comprises: a ribbon frame in which a supply reel mounting part and a winding reel mounting part are formed such that a supply reel and a winding reel are mounted in a state of separation from each other; a cassette coupled to the ribbon frame and accommodating a recording medium; guide rails formed horizontally on both side walls of the ribbon frame; and guide bars that are formed protruding horizontally from both side walls of the cassette and slide along the guide rails.
