Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a cartridge that makes it possible to set a printing tape and the cartridge into a tape printing device at the same time. [Solution] A cartridge to be mounted in a tape printing device, comprising: a cartridge case; a cartridge-side tape introduction port through which, in a state in which the cartridge has been mounted in a cartridge mounting section of the tape printing device, the printing tape that has been introduced through a device-side tape introduction port is introduced into the cartridge case; a cartridge-side tape ejection port through which the printing tape is ejected to the outside of the cartridge case toward a device-side tape ejection port; and a tape retaining section that retains the printing tape, which has been introduced into a tape path between the cartridge-side tape introduction port and the cartridge-side tape ejection port prior to the cartridge being mounted in the cartridge mounting section.
