The cash-on-delivery object express processing terminal comprises a terminal delivery cabinet (1), a terminal host (2), and a terminal processor (3). The terminal delivery cabinet (1) comprises an express storage cell (11) and a door lock control unit (12). The terminal host (2) comprises an input unit (22), an information reading unit (23), an information acquisition unit (24), and a payment unit (26). The terminal processor (3) comprises a communications unit (31) and a control processing unit (32). The door lock control unit (12), a display unit (21), the input unit (22), the information reading unit (23), the information acquisition unit (24) and the communications unit (31) are separately connected to the control processing unit (32). The cash-on-delivery object express processing terminal and the processing method therefor break through the limitation that a courier needs to deliver in a face-to-face manner in traditional parcel delivery, and has a high express delivery efficiency.
