Abstract:
The present invention relates to a casing for insulating piping and methods for constructing and manufacturing same, the casing for insulating piping comprising: a body (1) comprising a metal plate material and having a cylindrical shape; a female joint (2) which is formed in a bent manner so as to resemble an "S" shape and provided in the lengthwise direction of the end of one side of the body (1); a male joint (3) which can be coupled to the female joint (2) by means of insertion, and which is formed in a curved manner so as to resemble an "L" shape and is provided in the lengthwise direction of the end of the other side of the body (1); a first coupling protrusion (4) which extends in a circumferential direction from the upper end of the body (1) and is protrudingly formed; and a second coupling protrusion (5) which extends in a circumferential direction from the lower end of the body (1) and is protrudingly formed, wherein a side surface cut portion (6), which is cut to have a specific length and width, is provided at an upper end and a lower end of the female joint (2) and the male joint (3).
