Abstract:
This caster device 1 comprises a rotary cylinder 30 provided with a first magnetic body 63 and a second magnetic body 68 on a circumferential side section thereof. The caster device 1 switches between: a holding state in which the first magnetic body 63 and the second magnetic body 68 are caused to approach each other, and a caster 80 connected to the rotary cylinder 30 is rotated to a predetermined rotation position by a magnetic force and is held; and a free state in which the first magnetic body 63 and the second magnetic body 68 are caused to be spaced apart from each other and the caster 80 can freely rotate.
