Abstract:
A caster wheel having an aesthetically pleasing appearance, a good braking effect, and a built-in brake structure, and a golf bag base using the caster wheel. The caster wheel comprises a wheel, a rotation plate rotating, with the wheel, through 360 degrees in a horizontal plane, and a wheel mount connected to the rotation plate. Multiple positioning holes are uniformly disposed on the periphery of a top surface of the rotation plate. A brake disc hole running through the wheel mount is provided at a position outside a central hole of the wheel mount and opposite the positioning hole in a vertical direction. A brake assembly is disposed above the wheel mount. A lower end of a brake disc pin in the brake assembly can pass downwards through the brake disc hole and be inserted into the positioning hole. The built-in brake structure provides a box, pack, or bag using the caster wheel with an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The wheel is disposed on an outer side of a base of the box, pack, or bag, such that the same can be steadily and easily pushed horizontally when upright or pulled when tilted at an angle. The wheel mount and the rotation plate can be made from plastic by injection molding in a one-pass process, reducing manufacturing costs. In addition, the wheel mount and the rotation plate can have a variety of colors and shapes.
