Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catecholamine coating method using calcium peroxide and a method for preparing a low-binding cell culture plate using same and, more specifically, to a catecholamine coating method comprising a step of immersing a substrate to be coated in a catecholamine solution containing calcium peroxide (CaO2) and a method for preparing a low-binding cell culture plate, the method comprising a step of immersing the substrate coated with catecholamine by the coating method in an amine-reactive PEG (mPEG) solution. Developed in the present invention is a surface modification technique for biocompatible materials in which calcium peroxide is used as an oxygen-supplying reagent. The calcium peroxide-mediated oxygen supply promotes the oxidation of dopamine hydrochloride (DA) to rapidly create an amine-rich substrate, so that a low-binding culture plate can be created by a simple immersion procedure. Cells cultured in the low-binding culture plate formed larger and more compact cell spheroids than in other culture plates.
