Abstract:
The present invention relates to a caterpillar travelling using suction, which is adhered onto an inclined and slippery area such as a solar photovoltaic panel or a glass wall of a building through its own power and is easily detachable by releasing reduced pressure within a suction pad. The caterpillar includes: a suction part including a reduced pressure release unit for releasing reduced pressure within a suction pad by using the magnetic force of a magnet on the suction pad; a track on which the suction part is provided in plurality; and a control part for controlling the operation of the reduced pressure release unit by using the magnetic force.
