Abstract:
The present invention provides a catheter capable of increasing the slidability of a member inserted into an inner lumen of the catheter while ensuring distal-end flexibility. Provided is a catheter (1) comprising a distal side and a proximal side, the catheter comprising a distal end (10) and a body (20) disposed proximal to the distal end (10); the body (20) comprising a first layer (21) containing at least 60 mass% ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, and a second layer (22) that is disposed to the inside of the first layer (21) with respect to the radial direction of the catheter and contains at least 60 mass% polyamide resin; and the cantilever flexural load of the distal end (10) is less than the cantilever flexural load of the body (20).
