Abstract:
A cell selection method, device and system. The method comprises: a terminal receiving, from a base station, a broadcast message carrying a re-selection factor of a cell; and when cell selection and/or re-selection are performed, the terminal comparing a re-selection factor of the present terminal with the re-selection factor, carried in the broadcast message, of the cell, and determining a target cell according to a comparison result, wherein the re-selection factor refers to a service bearing level determined according to a network bearing characteristic or a residence level of the terminal in an idle mode. The cell selection method, device and system disclosed in the technical solution can realize the requirements of different carrier differentiation bearing strategies.
