Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a cell switching method, base station, and control node, applicable to a communication system comprising a first base station, at least two second base stations, and user equipment (UE), and at least two second cells have one-to-one correspondence to at least two cell global identifiers (CGI). The method comprises: the first base station receives a switching request sent by the UE, wherein the switching request is used to instruct the UE to request switching to a target second cell of the at least two second cells and carries a physical cell identifier (PCI) of the target second cell; the first base station determines that the PCI corresponds to multiple second cells; and the first base station receives position information of the UE sent by a target second base station corresponding to the target second cell of the at least two second base stations, wherein the position information is acquired by the target second base station according to configuration information; and the first base station determines, according to the position information, the target second cell from the multiple second cells.
