Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the clogging of spinning holes with lapse of spinning time in a cellulose acetate tow band in spite of the fact that cellulose acetate having a small titanium oxide content or containing no titanium oxide is used, thereby preventing the decrease in ventilation resistance of the cellulose acetate tow band. A cellulose acetate fiber having a titanium oxide content of 0.05% by weight or less, a calcium content of 20 ppm or less and a magnesium content of 30 ppm or more.
