Abstract:
A cellulosic resin including cellulose in which hydrogen atoms of the hydroxy groups have been replaced with a long-chain moiety that is a C14 or higher, linear aliphatic acyl group and with a short-chain moiety that is a C2 acyl group and/or a C3 acyl group, the cellulosic resin having a nitrogen content of 300-2,000 ppm. The cellulosic resin is excellent in terms of mechanical property and pyrolysis resistance.
