Abstract:
The invention relates to a rail housing (7) for a sliding door (3) of a motor vehicle, the housing (7) comprising a rear part (9) and a front part (11), the rear part (9) being connected by one of its ends to the front part (11), the front part (11) having a curvature, the housing (7) being characterized in that the front part (11) comprises a metal stamped portion (21) of which the cross section has an "L"-shaped profile so as to present a lower wall (23) and a lateral wall (25) forming the bottom of said housing (7).
