Abstract:
The present invention relates to a ceramic sintered compact having an embossed surface, to a method for manufacturing the same, and to a heat treatment member comprising the ceramic sintered compact. The present invention provides a ceramic sintered compact characterized by having, on the surface thereof, recesses and projections satisfying conditions (a) through (d): (a) the maximum height Ry of protruding parts of the recesses and projections is 30 µm or less; (b) the width of the protruding parts of the recesses and projections is 120 µm or less; (c) the difference between the maximum height and minimum height of the protruding parts of the recesses and projections is 15 µm or less; and (d) there are 30-200 protruding parts of the recesses and projections in an area of 1 mm2 of the surface.
