Abstract:
A ceramic tile polishing device and method, said device comprising a control system, a ceramic tile feeding system and a ceramic tile polishing system, the ceramic tile polishing system comprising polishing group units, cross beam swing driving units and a cross beam support frame. By providing at least two polishing group units and at least two cross beam swing driving units, different polishing group units can be driven by different cross beam swing driving units, each of the polishing group units comprising at least one grinding head. The movements of the polishing group units are independent of each other, such that a composite movement trajectory is formed on the ceramic tile surface, being able to avoid missing polishing and over-grinding, improving the polishing uniformity of the ceramic tile surface, and improving the ceramic tile polishing efficiency.
