Abstract:
Provided are a ceramics product manufacturing method and a ceramics product that achieve an improvement in mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and machinability using a direct shaping system. The manufacturing method is characterized by comprising: (i) a step of placing a powder mainly consisting of ceramics on a base; (ii) a step of obtaining an intermediate shaped object by irradiating a part or all of the placed powder with an energy beam to melt and solidify the powder; (iii) a step of causing the shaped object to absorb and become impregnated with a metal component-containing liquid; and (iv) a step of heat-processing the shaped object caused to absorb the metal component-containing liquid.
