A chainsaw, comprising: a main machine body (10), a guide plate (20) and an accessory device (30), which is used for fixing the guide plate (20) and tensioning a chain (21); the accessory device (30) is detachably combined with the main machine body (10), and the accessory device (30) moves between a combination position at which the same is combined with the main machine body (10) and a separation position at which the same is separated from the main machine body (10); the accessory device (30) comprises a driving spring (311), an operation member (321) and a locking member (331), the locking member (331) moving between a first position at which the driving spring (311) is locked in a compressed state and a second position at which the driving spring (311) is unlocked; when the accessory device (30) is in the separation position, the operation member (321) is operated by a user to compress the driving spring (311), and when the accessory device (30) moves from the separation position to the combination position, the locking member (331) moves to the second position at which the driving spring (311) is unlocked, the driving spring (311) driving the guide plate (20) away from a chain wheel (12) to tension the chain (21). The chain tensioning operation of the chainsaw is convenient, fast and efficient.
