Abstract:

A change action monitoring device for an on-load tap changer enables adoption of a relatively simple and inexpensive torque detecting means by mitigating the requirement of the detection accuracy of the start time of a change action, enables accurate, infallible grasp of torque waveform caused by a change action of a tap switch, and enables high-accuracy judgment of an abnormal state of a change action. The change action monitoring device comprises waveform processing means (47) composed of a third low-pass filter (70) for creating torque waveform processing data including torque waveform data from which the noise component is removed, first and second low-pass filters (71, 72) having cut-off frequencies lower than that of the third low-pass filter and adapted for creating torque waveform shaping data, first and second differentiators (73, 74) each for extracting the occurrence time of the extremum of the waveform produced by differentiating the torque waveform shaping data in a predetermined time range with respect to time, as an action reference time, a multiplier (75), and a local maxima extracting circuit (76).
