Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a channel measurement method and a communication device. The method comprises: a first access point receiving a channel relay command frame from a controller or a central access point, and according to the channel relay command frame, sending a channel relay frame to a second access point, wherein the channel relay command frame can be used to instruct the first access point to send channel measurement results of at least one station to the second access point, the channel relay command frame comprises a first sounding session token number, and the channel relay frame carries a channel measurement result, which corresponds to a first sounding session token, among channel measurement results of multiple stations. In the method, at least one station is associated with a first access point, and after a channel relay command frame is received, the first access point forwards channel measurement results of at least one station to a second access point. Thus, channel measurement across access points is realized, multiple access points deployed at the same frequency sending data in parallel can be satisfied, and the data transmission rate in the entire wireless network is improved.
