Abstract:
A channel sheath (1) is provided with: a proximal end member (2) that has a first opening (2a) through which a treatment implement is inserted, and that can be implanted in the surface of a body; a tubular intermediate member (6) which is connected to the proximal end member (2), and which is flexible, and through which the treatment implement can be inserted; and a distal end member (8) that has a second opening (8a) through which the treatment implement can be projected and retracted, that can be attached to and detached from a medical implement different from the treatment implement, and that is connected to the intermediate member (6).
