The invention relates to a charging device for an electric vehicle, comprising an electric cable (2) and a charging connection element (5). The charging device comprises a transport device (14) that can pull the electric cable (2) inside a cable drum (1). The electric cable (2) is then wound onto the cable drum (1) in a two-dimensional manner.
