Abstract:

A highly reliable choke coil which is used for various kinds of electronic equipment in public welfare and industries, can cope with a large current in spite of a thin thickness, and can be assembled with high workability. The choke coil is provided with a closed magnetic circuit magnetic core equipped with a central magnetic leg (35), outer magnetic legs (36), and a common magnetic leg (37). An air-core coil (20) constituted by spirally winding a platy conductor (21) around the center magnetic core (35) of the core (34) is mounted on the core (34). Of the terminals (22) and (23) connected to both end sections of the conductor (21) of the coil (20), the terminal (22) provided on the inner periphery of the coil (20) is led out through a notched section (38) formed on one side of the common magnetic leg (37) of the core (34).
