Abstract:
The present invention relates to a chuck for mounting a workpiece comprising: a chuck body; and a base jaw installed on the chuck body, wherein the chuck body comprises a guide part for guiding the movement of the base jaw, the guide part including a sliding part for guiding the base jaw such that the base jaw can move, the sliding part being inclined at a certain angle with respect to the ground. Since the sliding part of the chuck body and a support part of the base jaw are formed to be inclined, when the support part of the base jaw moves along the sliding part of the chuck body, force in the direction of the X axis and force in the direction of the Y axis are applied simultaneously. Thus, since the force in the direction of the X axis and the force in the direction of the Y axis are applied simultaneously when a gripping part grips an object to be processed, the object to be processed can be gripped more firmly.
