Abstract:
A circular saw blade (1) for cutting metal comprises: a disc-shaped base metal (2); a gullet (5) opening radially outward on an outer circumference of the base metal (2); and a tip seat (6) recessed at a rear end of the gullet (5) in a rotating direction. The circular saw blade (1) has a tip (10) attached to the tip seat (6) and protruding radially outward more than the base metal (2). A blade thickness of the tip (10) is thicker than a thickness (2c) of the base metal (2). The tip (10) has, on a radially inner side, a thin portion (15) with a thickness less than the thickness (2c) of the base metal (2). The thin portion (15) is positioned within the thickness of the tip seat (6) in the thickness direction.
