Abstract:
Citrus-fruit squeezer device especially conceived and designed for use by a consumer who has portions of lemon to be squeezed over some type of food that is to be consumed, without the need to touch the lemon with the hands, characterized in that it comprises two complementary elements (1, 2), connected together in a foldable manner, configured such that they have, respectively, an arm portion (3, 4) and bowl portion (6, 8), arranged in a relationship of mutual alignment and retaining symmetry with respect to a pivot axis (10) that links the adjacent ends of the two elements, both bowl portions having a general hemispherical configuration, the bowl portion (6) being a first element (1) that is slightly larger than the bowl (8) of the opposite element, the first having a number of through-holes (5) to allow the juice from the squeezed product to pass through and the articulation and pivot means of the two elements consisting of a substantially flattened projection (7) extending from the end wall of the bowl (6) with which it is associated, and a housing formed on the end wall of the bowl (8) of the second element (2), which is constituted from two wall portions (9) that extend parallel to one another and are separated in order to receive, house and retain, inside, the projection (7) of the first element by means of said pivot axis (10) housed in holes (11, 12) associated, respectively, with the projection (7) of the first element and with the walls (9) of the second element.
